Static QR
Direct encoding. Data is stored in the pixels.
- Truly Permanent: Will work forever.
- Fastest: No server lookup required.
- Privacy: No data tracking possible.
- Uneditable: Link broken? Need to reprint.
- No Stats: You won't know who scanned.
Dynamic QR
Redirect encoding. Data is stored on our secure servers.
- Editable: Change the URL anytime.
- Analytics: Track scans, devices, locations.
- Smart Features: App Store routing, etc.
- ⚠️Dependence: Relies on our servers (99.9% uptime).
Which one for me?
- Choose Static for WiFi codes, vCards (if you don't move often), or permanent text/email templates.
- Choose Dynamic for Marketing flyers, Restaurant Menus (you change dishes seasonally), or Business Cards (you might change jobs/numbers).
